Fun Days

Throughout the year there are many events that both children and parents can become involved in. We invite different people into the nursery such as, “People Who Help Us” the fire brigade who brought their fire engine and allowed the children to climb all over it! The PCSO and many different occupations such as Doctors, nurses and dentists, who talk to the children about being safe and taking care of ourselves

We celebrate many different festivals and cultures and have taken the children out to a local Chinese restaurant where the children learn all about Chinese New year and got to try some exciting new foods. We look at and celebrate many different national days and will often send home items that the children have created.

We hold several fun days throughout the year such as bring your bear to nursery day and pyjama days and also help to raise money for Red Nose Day, Sport Relief and Children in Need through a variety of different fund raising activities organised by the staff and children

We also hold events within the nursery such as, teddy bear’s picnic’s, Christmas Fayre and take part in the village day that all parents are welcome to and can take part in for the children. We also hold, Christmas parties, graduation ceremonies and a sports day in the summer parents will also be invited to attend these events.

Regularly we follow national events and hold our own celebration, we had a tea party for the diamond jubilee and a street party for the royal wedding. It really is any excuse for a party.

We keep all families up to date with the latest activities through our monthly newsletter, on our website and through the Facebook page
