Our Wheathampstead nursery is a 56 place nursery in a wonderful countryside setting situated at the end of Meads Lane in Wheathampstead. We back onto open countryside with the River Lee running through the fields nearby.
We have an enthusiastic team waiting to welcome your child.
Our aim is that we strive to maintain a high standard of care and education with the children at both our nurseries.
We aim to create an environment where the child learns and where the staff do what is necessary to support the child's learning.
We are registered to care for 56 children aged from 3 months to rising 5's and they are split into the following age groups;
3 months - 18 months
18 months - 2½ years
2½ years - rising 5's
Children with special needs are welcome at any age.
We are open for 50 weeks a year Monday to Friday
8am to 6pm
8am to 6pm
Our staff have an extensive knowledge of child development and they implement high standards of care and education at all times.
We aim to work positively with our parents and carers.
We recognise our role within the community and consequently develop and maintain those community links.
We welcome children with additional needs and have strong links with outside agencies and other professionals that help us in supporting these children.
We have an "outstanding" Ofsted report at our nursery.
